Hi Jon, thanks for your comments on my recent photographs and also for observing how I blocked the sun on the balcony photograph and deliberately shot through the bars. You understand what I was trying to capture which seems to have not been noticed by a lot of people! thanks again - and yes I am being contemplative in my avatar - although I do look a bit cross-eyed! lol! which is what happens when you have to make an image so small!! :)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on leaf on deck, your comments are greatly appreciated! The deck actually is that color (old pressure treated wood does that when it's been weathered). Aside from a small bit of post processing to boost saturation and shadows it's as seen through the lens.

Looks like you sure had a ball going thru my gallery. Thankyou so much for your comments on many of my images. The ones you chose are my favorites. I drove a truck for 19 plus years and was sent to San Francisco many times to the Moscone Conv Center.
Want a good place to eat? Try the Sugar Bowl Bakery And Resturant, 480 Toland St, especially for breakfast. I hope it's still there because I want to return to it someday. I quit driving in 2004. See ya

Hi Jon...I like to take chances at times, and kind of work with things that people sometimes don't like, such as the power lines in my photo. I think these things can be made to work within a photo..And I liked the way the lines angled in comparison to the railroad tracks and also that the lines went right into the clouds...but thanx for the thoughts..verena

Hi Jon, thanks for commenting on "Snowdon Summit". Snowdon is the highest mountain in North Wales in Snowdonia. It's really beautiful, worth going to if the weather permits! :) Linda

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the Field of Wheat. The C-index baffles me sometimes. I have some average pictures with higher scores than this one, which I was pleased with. The comments that people leave are far more useful than the c-index. Thanks for looking! Much appreciated!!

Thanks for the comment on "A Silent Passing" I understand and can heartily agree with your comment regarding the point of view. Unfortunately this particular area only has a single path and I don't have a DSLR that allows for any wider an angle.
